The car was perfect! Very clean!

The company treated me well. The host was horrible. I got dinged $30 to get the car out of the lot at pickup. He wrote that I was responsible for all fees. Then he called me cheap and referred to me as Karen for the rest of my last vacation day when I questioned him about the $30 which meant he left it 2 full days in airport parking. Should I have to pay for that? He implied in advance that I was going to damage the car, he filed a complaint that I took the vehicle off road. He actually scared me. He demanded I return the car a day early. At this point I called him a Montana Dumb Fuck after he called me names several times. As a senior woman from California traveling alone to Montana for the first and only time, on a social security income, why on earth would I take a Fiat with OVER 100,000 miles on it off-road with no cell service? No charger in car either. I put a little over 209 miles on the car driving through Glacier and neighboring towns. It was returned clean and undamaged. I thoroughly expected Chad to be there at drop off to harass me. I received at least 10 harassing messages with name calling from this host. In addition I was billed an extra day which he fully knew but never pointed out. He refused to return it, of course. It’s not solved yet but customer service appears to be dealing with it. My first and only experience with Turo. Avoid Chad and his Fiat in Kalispell at all costs!!

Chad's response

I'm sorry your first Turo experience was frustrating. Airport parking fees are paid to the airport—not me—and are reimbursed by Turo. During our messages, you repeatedly called me profane names, threatened to return the car dirty and empty on fuel, so I documented everything with Turo out of concern for my vehicle. I never added rental days; hosts can't do that. I hope future trips go more smoothly now that you understand how Turo airport pickups work. I did not call you any bad names, you did.

Great car and great service! Chad was responsive, the car was clean and in great shape. It was fun to cruise around Whitefish in the Fiat!
