Rented this car for a 6 day getaway with my friend. The first thing we noticed was the strong onion smell that came from the car vents the moment we turned on the car. This smell was constant but we got used to it as the trip went on. The car drove great! Great AC and music! Definitely needs a replacement of windshield wipers. Gas mileage was good too. We did find when vacuuming out the car we found one live roach and roach bait under the passenger seat.. I don’t see any heads up regarding this so that was a little gross. Communication was a little tough. When delivering the car back in the lot there was so detailed location we were just told to return it where we picked it up. To be fair we have never been on the big island before and the rental area has so many lots. Seemed like the owner could have replied kinder and more efficient but instead said “No!!!” “Please return the car back where you found it!!!!” After I expressed I was confused. We ended up getting a location and figured it out. But I do see past comments about communication regarding this topic being so so..
Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed the car's performance, A/C, audio system, and fuel economy. I'm surprised by your comments about the odor and the roach, as the vehicle is professionally cleaned and inspected after every trip, and no previous guest has reported either issue. I'll still inspect everything, including the wipers. I also appreciate your feedback on communication and will work on making the return instructions clearer.

good, wanted to communicate about trip ahead of time since i felt uneasy about pick up using this app the first time and kind of hoping someone would pick up at the time i was at the airport. communication could be better but everything was great.
