Car was great on gas, cold ac, and got us around the whole island. The host had great communication and gave clear directions for the vehicle and made pickup/drop off a breeze. Definitely worth it.

I love renting older cars I just feel
More comfortable in them. This car rode great the only thing I can say is that the car was slightly dirty and smelled like wet clothes on the inside. After putting some car freshener and vacuuming it I was all good to go. Heather was awesome in responding quickly to my inquires.

Sorry you had this experience. The car had been returned very dirty that morning and I had a short window to clean it and get it to you, hence the wet smell, which does mean it was disinfected. I also did vacuum extensively, but there was a ton of sand and dirt so sorry if I missed some. In the pictures I submitted, there are not any visible particles that would have needed additional vacuuming.
Car handled great. Was very clean. I recommend flyiing into Kona in the morning not evening, hard to see in the low lit parking lot.

I’m sorry you had a difficult time in the dark. The Turo app has GPS that takes you directly to the car, and also provides directions. Kona doesn’t have big lights so the we can see the stars. So might I suggest a flashlight with a gorgeous view of the stars?
