Ben was a great host, all instructions were clear, even to me as a first-time Turo renter. The car was in good enough condition to be a fun drive, but used enough to be an economical choice for a convertible.

Car needs major work. I own auto body shop so I know cars. When we picked the car up we drove 15 minutes to our condo and I immediately notified the owner Telling him the transmission needs service, When you put it in gear there's a large clunk as it is shifting out of park (over 5 days it did it about 6 times) and then also it possibly needs drive axles because going about 35 miles an hour the car is vibrating and shaking like crazy. I you never got a response from the owner The entire trip about that and also my wife had direct message him besides on the Turo app. When we took the car from Kona to volcano national park going about sixty miles an hour you can smell burning coolant. The interior of the car is quite tore up as well. The car is more like a wreck Vs rent a car. This definitely needs to go in for major service before it gets rented out again because it's a ticking time bomb when you're broke down on the side of the road. I understand cars need work and things can break at any time and I probably would have given it a better review had they ever responded to any of our messages We sent them about the car but the lack of response Let's me know we weren't the first people to have brought it to their attention and they clearly just ignore it. Take this car in and have it fixed before it's rented out again and someone breaks down and ruins their entire vacation
