My flight ended up arriving well ahead of schedule, and when the hosts were notified they hustled to get the car to the usual drop-off spot at the designated Maui airport lot. Vehicle was as described, with effective a/c and excellent hybrid mileage.

Communication and pickup location were great, but tabs were expired on the license plate and a “Maintenance Required” message was perennially on the instrument cluster. Also, I have never before been asked to vacuum my rental car out before returning it.

car ran just fine. The condition of the car was "average" with many scratches and dents. The directions to find the car in the Airport parking lot were specific and accurate.

The car was perfect and so was the host but using Turo was difficult. Need to know ahead of time you need to upload proof of insurance. Thank goodness my son was home and able to get us a picture.
