Easy transaction. Dashboard lights are ON but it doesn't affect the driveability. Trunk door shocks needs to be replaced. My daughter got hit in the head with it but it stays open. Other than that, it's a very reliable car to roam around Maui. Thank you Diana and team!

The owner knew there was an issue with the vehicle before renting it to us but did not disclose it. During our rental, the check engine light came on. Although the car continued to run, the owner asked me to wash and thoroughly clean the vehicle so it would be ready for the next customer. This went well beyond simply cleaning out our belongings and appeared to be preparing the car for another rental despite the known mechanical issue.
The mechanical issue has been 5 times on the shop to resolve. Receipts and part ordered to solve the injection that keep turning the check engine light continuesly.
Mechanic report provided to clarify that the car is safe to drive and not affecting the efficiency of the engine communicated to the customer before picking up the car from host responsible.

While my host is listed as Diana - all my correspondence was with Flavio. Pickup was just fine. Car quality OK although I noticed it ran rough when started until it warmed up. Several warning lights appeared a few days into trip. Check Engine, ABS, Brake Collision System. Messaged host - several hours passed before he responded and when he did response made no sense. Turns out he thought he was responding to someone else. He called and apologized for his terse reply and told me not to worry about warning lights. Car got us around island fine but a bit concerning with warning lights.
Expectation we wash/clean car before return. Thought that was a bit much but first time Turo user so perhaps the norm.
Drop off - no issue.
We are dealing with the dealership with the sensors had replaced and the warning lights still turning on again. 4th time returning to dealership to solve the problem. The car drives normal. But the sensor still a challenge. Working with Toyota to fix it.
No smoking allowed
