If Shakespeare himself had rented your car, I imagine even he would have struggled to find words worthy of the experience. So, as promised, I am going to give it my best attempt.
Our family’s trip was anything but ordinary. After 252 days of our son being deployed with the U.S. military, the opportunity to finally see him came together at the very last minute. With military schedules, family logistics, and emotions running in every direction, our plans were, to put it mildly, all over the place.
And then there was Thomas.
From the very beginning, he was incredibly accommodating, understanding, flexible, and genuinely kind. He understood that this wasn’t simply a car rental for us—it was part of a long-awaited family reunion that meant the world to us. Instead of making an already unpredictable situation more stressful, Thomas made everything easier.
That kind of generosity is rare.
The car was fantastic, but honestly, the person behind the car is what made this experience five-star worthy. Thomas went above and beyond to work with us, and his willingness to accommodate our ever-changing circumstances made a tremendous difference during a very special and emotional time for our family.
There are people who provide a service, and then there are people who provide peace of mind, kindness, and humanity along with it. Thomas is the latter.
So, Thomas, thank you. Thank you for your patience. Thank you for your flexibility. Thank you for understanding. And most of all, thank you for helping make it possible for our family to spend precious time together after an incredibly long 252 days apart.
