I had a very disappointing experience with this host. I booked and paid for an additional trip through Turo, but the host claimed they could not see the second booking in their system. Despite me showing proof of the reservation, they insisted that I return the car early and threatened to call the police and file a report if I didn’t.
This situation was stressful and completely unnecessary, especially since the booking was made and paid for through the platform. Communication from the host was unprofessional and unhelpful in resolving the issue.
I recommend that future renters proceed with caution and make sure all reservations and extensions are clearly confirmed through Turo before relying on this host.
