Horrible experience, avoid this host at all costs. I had reservation starting at 2, I messaged host weeks and days in advance about the strict start of 2 for the trip as this is for a wedding. Host messages saying they can drop off 1-1:30. Perfect. The day before reservation, host cancels and switches to another car as “passenger needs to extend trip with that car”. Okay cool, time and price doesn’t change. The day of trip, host cancels and goes back to original car as he got a flat with the other, I guess passenger didn’t need to extend trip? Regardless, host is now an hour late dropped off the car at 2:40. I call Turo, only option is wait or cancel. Car came stinking of weed smoke that was present in the car the entire trip. Host offered a later return due to being late, just a horrible experience. Avoid at all costs.
