The car itself was fine, ran great the whole time, no issues on that front.
The host on the other hand wasn’t the best. I uploaded my license the day prior to pick up when the app prompted me to. An hour prior to pick up, my license still hadn’t been reviewed and I didn’t have any communication on picking the car up, aside from the address of where to go (Hilton Garden Inn LAX/El Segundo). I messaged the host twice approx 45 and 25 minutes prior to pick up confirming the car would in fact be there, but I received no response. At ten minutes to pick up, I contacted support for help. They tried calling a few times as well with no response. They told me to wait about 15-20min to see if we got a response and if not they would go ahead and cancel and help me find a new vehicle. Almost 30min after my pick up time, the host called and said that someone dropped off late and she was still 25min away. She called if I was at the hotel and I said no because I didn’t want to take a shuttle to a hotel with the possibility of the car not even being there and having to get back to the airport. She said if I booked with her again another time, she’d give me a discount 😂
With issues with the shuttle and not getting on the correct one, I finally made it to the car and got settled, to then find out the car only had 50miles left of gas. I proceeded to ask for a discount for this trip due to all the issues and inconveniences and was politely told no and to deal with it. “You’d have to return the car with the same gas amount anyway” which is much easier to do when it’s full than to calculate 50miles left of gas. My day was pushed back about 3 hours due to the issues and the host had no qualms whatsoever.
Also, a shuttle has to be scheduled for pick up and drop off apparently and that’s why I couldn’t find the correct hotel shuttle. So if you do book this car, make sure that is done, because that was not mentioned anywhere in the Turo listing and I ended up at a different Hilton Garden Inn on the other side of the airport.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, the previous guest returned the vehicle late, which was outside of my control. Once it was returned, I still had to clean and prepare it for your trip. I communicated the delay and did my best to accommodate you, including offering to pick you up from the airport and cover the hotel parking fee. Mediocre experience - car delivered on time, easy instructions. Car had cheap seat covers, smelled horrible, cleaning product used was very greasy, and electric seat adjustment buttons were broken.
