Excellent car, excellent on gas, and great communication from Henry, the owner. I unfortunately can’t give 5 stars for a few reasons, but the biggest was that we were pulled over for an expired registration, and if the officer hadn’t been lenient and just provided a warning, that would have made for a very, very bad rest of our trip. Additionally, the windshield wipers needed replacing and the rearview mirror was incredibly loose and difficult to use properly.
Unfortunately, I think this car has seen an uptick in use due to current gas prices and it is an excellent little car, so it is turning over hands very quickly, but I cannot excuse the fact that the registration was expired, especially once finding out this was not the first time it had happened.
Henry was always accessible via text and remedied the expired registration with a temporary one the next day, so I do give kudos to Henry for excellent communication. It just could have turned into a very gnarly situation and I can’t give 5 stars in good conscience.
