Smooth rental experience with the Turo and the Toyota Corolla was super clean, fuel-efficient, and comfortable to drive. Highly recommended!

Well… the car was fine. Good working condition and impeccably clean inside. The owner of the car was very sweet and quickly responded to any of my concerns. That being said, the listing for the car stated it was on MCO property. Technically, I guess it was on a piece of MCO property, but it was parked in a field next to the runway and had no direct access without going through a major process of walking thru the entire airport to another terminal and then taking several shuttle buses to find the car. (All while lugging our HEAVY bags) It was a MESS! We had to walk to a completely different terminal and then take 2 different shuttle buses to try to find our car. We were let out of the shuttle in a FIELD and had to walk a LONG way (with all of our heavy bags) through this completely dark grassy field!! Suitcases won’t roll in a field! It was HORRIBLE. When we finally found our car in this pitch black dark unmarked field, the car was surrounded by PILES of trash. We literally had to kick trash out of the way to even get into the trunk and into the car. It was unbelievable! I have photos to show. Leaving the field “lot” with the car was no less nerve wracking. Complete darkness with zero signage. And we had to pay $20 for the previous parking to be allowed to leave. We felt like we were in the Twilight Zone. The entire parking situation was beyond bizarre. Just unbelievably Bad!
Our week of using the car went very well. No issues with the car whatsoever. I paid for extra insurance and paid extra so I didn’t have to refuel it. That was a nice option.
I called the car owner and told him about the horrible parking situation that we had to deal with when picking the car up as far as the distance from the terminal and it being in an unmarked, unlit field and the car being surrounded by mounds of trash. He apologized profusely, but said it was out of his control due to Turro policy.
I did also contact the car owner and begged him to let us drop the car back off at a different location. We have mobility issues and never would’ve rented this vehicle if we would’ve known the parking situation and having to walk from terminal to terminal and take two shuttle buses and park in the middle of a field, that was unmarked. (And completely Dark)The car owner said there was no other options because this is the only place that Turro was contracted to park.
He also said that if I dropped the car off at any other location, I would be charged a fine of $50 or more.
So even though the car was clean and had zero issues and even though the car owner was super nice and very responsive: I will NEVER EVER use Turro again and I will not recommend Turro to anyone.

The car was comfortable, clean and exactly as described. Communication was great and response time was very quick. We look forward to working with Nick again for future trips.
