Overall, the rental experience had a lot of modern conveniences and the VW Jetta itself was excellent. The car was clean, drove great, and made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. I also appreciated that the team stayed highly engaged throughout the rental period and clearly wanted customers to feel supported.
There were a few areas where the experience could be streamlined even further. The pickup location details were provided very close to the pickup time, which created a little unnecessary stress during travel planning. I also received a complimentary car wash text at 2 a.m. on the day of return — a thoughtful gesture, but the timing caused me to miss the message until I was already heading back to return the vehicle. In the rush, I completely forgot to refill the gas tank.
The communication style felt very tech-forward and proactive, with multiple emails checking in throughout the rental. Some renters may enjoy the constant touchpoints, though personally I think the experience would feel even more seamless with one concise message at pickup and one at return containing all the important details in a single place.
One additional note: the vehicle had a flashing SOS/service-disabled indicator illuminated for the entire rental period. The car performed perfectly otherwise, but it may be worth checking for future renters’ peace of mind.
Overall, the team seems genuinely focused on creating a convenient and modern rental process, and with a few small adjustments to communication timing and simplicity, the experience could become truly outstanding.

The car was very smooth! Very nice interior and very clean! Really great on gas. It was perfect for my trip as I didn’t need too much but it provided the level of comfort and class I needed. Everything was smooth from pick up to drop off, very seamless. Definitely would rent again when I’m in Houston
