The trip was fine, until the end. A tire maintenance light came on so I took it in to get checked and found out I was driving on TWO very risky tires that were not supposed to be driven on. Did not feel safe driving anywhere after that and did not get to complete my trip just had to stay in. I contacted the host about it then he tried to file claims on me about the condition of his car. Seems like a scam to me. Be safe!

The vehicle’s maintenance reminders are set for 4,000 miles so I can stay ahead of oil changes and tire rotations. It had two new front tires and the original rear tires. The morning after the trip, a mechanic inspected the tires and confirmed 4/32” of tread remained on the rear. The standard replacement point is 2/32”. The vehicle was also inspected after the damage during the trip. Customer did complete trip and my tracker shows he had the tires inspected the night before the return.
