The car drove well. It was very dirty and had a bad odor in it. Had to get fabreeze to make the car smell better. Got sent to the wrong pick up spot. Address is correct but location is not. No shuttle here.

I would strongly caution anyone considering renting from LA Auto Spot.
This was, without question, the worst rental car experience I have ever had.
I rented a blue Nissan Sentra that was advertised with photos that made it appear to be a clean, newer vehicle. What I actually received was completely unacceptable. The moment I opened the doors to inspect the vehicle, I was hit with an overwhelming odor that can only be described as a mixture of mold, spoiled milk, and vomit. The smell was so strong it was nauseating. It was not a mild odor—it was severe enough that I genuinely did not want to sit inside the vehicle.
To make matters worse, there were bugs and roaches inside the car. There was also an opened bag of tortilla chips left in the trunk by a previous renter. The vehicle was clearly not properly inspected, cleaned, or prepared before being handed off to a customer.
Fortunately, I documented everything immediately. I took photos and videos of the vehicle’s condition, including the interior, the trash left behind, and the issues I encountered. All of my documentation is time-stamped. I also contacted the company right away and provided evidence of the vehicle’s condition.
Unfortunately, I picked the vehicle up after business hours, leaving me with no practical option but to drive it home for the night and return the next morning. I informed them immediately that the vehicle was unacceptable and needed to be exchanged.
The next morning, I attempted to make the process as efficient as possible by asking if they could have a replacement vehicle prepared before I arrived. I was told no and instructed to come speak with an associate in person.
When I arrived, I was forced to wait approximately an hour outside in 91-degree weather while they figured out the replacement. Not only was the replacement vehicle not ready, but I had to wait while they cleaned and prepared it. The inconvenience was entirely caused by their failure to provide a clean, rentable vehicle in the first place, yet I was the one forced to waste additional time and sit outside in extreme heat.
What truly pushed this experience from bad to outrageous was receiving a $30 invoice for fuel afterward. I drove the original vehicle only enough to get home and back because it was in such disgusting condition. We’re talking roughly 15–20 miles. The fact that LA Auto Spot expected me to pay additional fees after providing a vehicle that smelled like mold and vomit, contained bugs, and had food left in the trunk is beyond unreasonable.
There was no accountability, no meaningful apology, and no attempt to compensate me for the inconvenience. Instead, I was left feeling like just another customer they could nickel-and-dime regardless of how poor the experience was.
My experience was unprofessional, unsanitary, and incredibly frustrating. Customers should not have to worry about receiving dirty vehicles, dealing with insects, waiting in the heat because of a company’s mistakes, and then being billed additional fees afterward.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend LA Auto Spot to anyone. If cleanliness, customer service, vehicle quality, and professionalism matter to you, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

The driver charged me for improper returning when I was in a rush and given different options to return the car and chose one. I was already late and instead of being compassionate the driver decided to charge me when nothing else was wrong with the car. I left the car with a full gas tank and took care of the car. I would have rated it much higher had the driver not decided to be mean.
