I booked another rental that was cancelled by them at the last second. Then when I went to extend the rental I already had I was charged a whole day and got cheated out of 5hrs worth of the rental extension.

Regarding the extension, Turo bills trips in 24-hour increments rather than by the hour, so extending beyond your original rental period may result in an additional day's charge.
