Was informed that the car I booked months ago was wrecked on the day of travel, 2 hours before arrival. They offered a replacement, and I accepted to ensure I wasn’t stranded but ultimately a Dodge Charger in place of a Mercedes Benz is apples to oranges and even when I expressed my dissatisfaction of the experience I was left on read and reminded that they technically followed Turo’s policy which was very disheartening as a disappointed customer. The communication and compassion could’ve been much better considering this was not a customer issue at all especially since they denied the partial refund which I feel should have been issued simply for the inconvenience. No issues out of the replacement car, but still would not rebook with them after the lack of regard to customer satisfaction after spending $390.
