Soon, guests will be able to discover Full Self-Driving (FSD) (Supervised) on Turo.
Starting October 28, 2026, FSD (Supervised) capabilities will be featured across the Turo marketplace, including search and vehicle listings — giving guests a new way to discover your car when booking their next trip.
Once your Tesla account is connected, Turo can confirm your vehicle’s FSD (Supervised) status. If your vehicle has an active subscription, the feature will display automatically on your listing when the new experience launches.
A simpler way to showcase FSD (Supervised)
With the new experience, you won’t need to use Extras or custom vehicle features to showcase FSD (Supervised). Once your Tesla account is connected to Turo, we’ll automatically display your vehicle’s FSD (Supervised) status when it is active.
Help guests get started with FSD (Supervised)
Not every guest will be familiar with Tesla vehicles or know how to activate FSD (Supervised). Consider sharing Tesla's FSD (Supervised) support resources in your pre-trip or pickup messages so guests know how to get started. Remind guests that FSD (Supervised) requires their full attention and that they must be ready to take over at any time.
Get a trial subscription
Starting November 16, eligible hosts in the U.S. may receive a one-month complimentary FSD (Supervised) subscription, giving you the opportunity to experience the feature on your Tesla vehicle.
To be eligible for the complimentary one-month FSD (Supervised) trial you must meet these requirements:
Your listed Tesla must have eligible AI4 hardware.
You must own your Tesla. Leased Teslas are not eligible for the complimentary subscription.
Your host profile must have a listed or snoozed Tesla vehicle in the U.S. or Canada.
You must have your Tesla account linked on Turo.
You must have completed at least one trip as a Turo host.
You must not have an active FSD (Supervised) subscription when the complimentary subscription is provisioned.
You must not have a paid FSD (Supervised) subscription after October 26.
If you have a paid subscription as of October 26, you are not eligible for the one-month complimentary feature.
Can I charge guests for FSD (Supervised) as an Extra?
No. FSD (Supervised) can’t be offered as a paid Extra. Tesla vehicles will have a dedicated way to communicate their FSD (Supervised) status to guests through the new Turo experience.
If you’re currently using an Extra or custom vehicle feature to highlight FSD (Supervised), we’ll remove these options when the new experience is live.
How will guests know my vehicle has FSD (Supervised)?
Once the new experience launches, guests will be able to discover and identify Tesla vehicles with FSD (Supervised) enabled and linked accounts through dedicated merchandising across Turo, including search and vehicle listings.
Guests may also see FSD (Supervised) featured through other parts of the Turo marketplace, like the home page as the new experience rolls out.
Do I need to do anything to make FSD (Supervised) visible on my listing?
All you need to do is connect your Tesla account to Turo. This allows Turo to confirm your vehicle’s FSD (Supervised) status. If your vehicle has an active subscription, it will be automatically featured on your listing when the new experience launches.
What should I know about hosting a vehicle with FSD (Supervised)?
FSD (Supervised) is an advanced driver assistance feature that requires the driver to remain attentive and ready to take over at all times. It does not make a Tesla autonomous.
As a host:
Make sure your vehicle is ready for the trip. Before guest pickup, confirm that FSD (Supervised) is enabled and available on your vehicle.
Set expectations with your guests. Let guests know that FSD (Supervised) requires their full attention and that they remain responsible for safely operating the vehicle.
Know when FSD (Supervised) may be unavailable. FSD (Supervised) can become unavailable for reasons including camera obstructions or other vehicle conditions. If it becomes unavailable, guests should follow the vehicle’s instructions and be prepared to take over.
Stay up to date. Familiarize yourself with Tesla’s latest FSD (Supervised) guidance and make sure your vehicle has the latest applicable software.
What if a claim is filed on a trip where FSD (Supervised) was used?
The same claims process that applies to any Turo trip applies here. Guests are responsible for the vehicle during their trip and for supervising FSD (Supervised) at all times. If something goes wrong, Turo handles the claim the same way it would for any other trip.
