The car was in good condition. i had no trouble driving it throughout the trip at all. Because I had not been back to Hawaii so long, I was not familiar with International Garage which was the designated location for pick-up and return of the car. So I was lost in both the pick-up and return for that reason. ( But that is my own fault, not Turo's or the Local Host (LA Auto Spot)'s at all. LA Auto Spot hosts (esp Duhreen) were kind, prompt, patient and professional in dealing with me to solve any problems I encountered. I was very impressed.
In the beginning, I did not know Turo was an App-based rental car business, but I ended up liking the experience through Turo and LA Auto Spot. 1 suggestion for Turo and LA Auto Spot: I hope that you can make and include a 2 min video (mp4) clip explaining (1) how to get to the location (International Parking Garage) from the gates (for pick-up), or from entrance of HNL airport (return), and (2) what to take pictures of (to document the car condition, dashboard (incl fuel gauge), relative location of the car parked for return), either in pick-up and return.
Overall, I rate my experience with Turo and the local hosts (LA Auto Spot team) 5 stars. Thanks, guys! I was able to rent a specific car of my choice, at reasonable and affordable price!
