When booking this trip, we selected “pickup from airport”, only to find out this was not an airport pickup. As a result, we had to spend $40 for an uber each way from the pickup/drop off point, which added a considerable cost to our trip. I messaged the host about this when we picked up, and he did not respond or acknowledge my message, and we did not hear from him until the day before drop off. When he did contact us again, he ignored our questions/complaints about improperly being listed as “pickup from airport” in the search filter, and he just sent us copied/pasted messages from a template. This was obvious when one of his messages said “vehicle name” instead of “Mighty Mouse”.

Overall the car was great for what we needed : Compact, fuel efficient, and a convertible top. However, the car was filthy upon pickup, idled rough due to incorrect fuel used by the last renter, and had a bad rattle in the right rear suspension. The idle improved when I topped off the tank with the correct fuel grade. Additionally, the inside of the windows and windshield were very hazy/dirty from previous renters smoking in the vehicle, and the A/C condenser drain line was clogged, causing water to drip on my feet while driving.

The host is not located on the island and not very involved in the process, so keep this in mind when booking.

Car quality was good, location was easy to find and nearby our hotel, host replied quickly and was great with communication.

Mighty Mouse was a great ride. Smooth and great gas mileage. I would definitely recommend!
