1. This wasn’t the car I booked, they canceled last minute and gave me this option to swap into. Frustrating because I would have made a change to my trip if they would have told me the car I originally booked was unavailable. But they failed to tell me until I already landed in Honolulu. Communication is tough, seems to be a lot of AI, hard to tell when you’re talking to an “owner”
2. The car was filthy, inside of the windshield was so dirty you could hardly see out of it.
3. The car had damage to the driver side front fender.
4. The car needs front brake rotors badly, they are warped. It’s also past due for an oil change.
5. There was no registration or proof of insurance in the vehicle.
6. When I picked up the car it didn’t have a full tank of fuel.
7. They want you to pick up and return the vehicle to the 8th floor of the parking garage, talk about inconvenience…
I am not one to leave bad reviews, but this was our honeymoon trip, I tried to book multiple higher end cars with this company and I’m not sure they even own some of the cars they have posted for rent through Turo. If I wanted a clapped out dodge challenger I would have rented through enterprise..
