Had to climb 7 flights of stairs in the parking garage just to find out the car wouldn’t be available for about an hour after our pickup time. Host didn’t let us know it was going to be that late until we reached out to ask where the car was.

Pick up was easy and car was in good mechanical condition. Only issue was the car appeared to not have been cleaned at all before I picked it up. Interior had an odd smell and oily substance on seats, door panels and dash. Exterior is black so I understand the difficulty in keeping it immaculate but this was far from a layer of dust. The car was covered in water spots and caked with dust. Not what you’re expecting when picking up a black luxury car. Family’s immediate response upon arriving home was that my car was filthy and that’s rather embarrassing to me. Drove immediately to get washed and felt better after but not something I should have to do 1hr after picking up a rental. I have rented many cars with LA Auto Spot and not had these issues so hopefully it was an isolated incident.
