This was our first experience with Turo:
Car wouldn't start day 2 of our 4 day trip. Owner asked me if i could find some one to jump it, which we did. He also asked me to take it to the store and check the battery and if it was bad, replace it with the promise of reimbursement. Battery tested ok so no action was taken.
The morning of day 3 it wouldn't start again. I called and he was going to come with a new battery but instead left his jump starter with us. This was good since the remainder of the trip, the car wouldn't start on its own.
Owner gets 3 stars because of responsiveness and NOT because of the experience.
We will likely never be thinking twice before using Turo again.
