The quality of the car was OK, but it smelled of smoke. The host sent both emails and messages through the app, which made it difficult to know where to look for information. I let her know I was going to be about 30 minutes late due to road construction and unexpected State Fair traffic. The app states that there is a 30-minute grace period, so I didn't attempt to add additional time through the app. When I arrived at the airport, the drop-off lot the host sent me to stated that no TURO drop-off was allowed in that lot. I drove around looking for a different lot and called customer service. I was instructed to return to the car to the lot that stated no TURO drop off. I was 6 minutes over the 30-minute grace period, and the host charged me a late fee. I uploaded a photo of where I dropped the car off in the app and got on my flight. I received several nasty emails while on the flight telling me I was supposed to email the host rather than follow the directions on the app. It is doubtful I will use TURO again.
