All was good, as always, several times renting from this host now.

The host was friendly, responsive, and addressed the issues we experienced with the car in a timely and courteous manner.
That said, the vehicle required servicing during our month-long rental, and I spent several hours coordinating the repair and waiting while the work was completed. Since this took place during my rental period, I was disappointed that there was no offer of a credit or other acknowledgment for the time and inconvenience.
When I returned the car, I accidentally exceeded the mileage allowance by 36 miles and forgot to refill the gas tank. Given the amount of time I had already spent handling the vehicle’s service, I had hoped the host might waive at least one of those charges—such as the gas convenience fee—as a gesture of goodwill. Instead, I received additional invoices without any consideration of the inconvenience caused by the repairs.
Overall, the car served its basic purpose of getting us from point A to point B during our month-long rental, although there were times when its reliability was concerning. Based on this experience, I would likely not rent from this host again. I value doing business with people who recognize and respect a customer’s time, and unfortunately I did not feel that was reflected in this experience.
