I rented the car for one month, and when I went to return it, I explained that I had no transportation to get back home and that I lived nearby, so I asked if they could drop me off. I understand they were under no obligation to do that, but it still felt like the wrong approach to me. Also, whenever I had an issue or a question, they never really tried to help and simply said, “Please contact the support team.”
Hi Umut, I’m going to clarify a few points in your review because they’re misleading. I understand you are upset about being charged a turo violation fee, for violating Turo policy but this is not the way to handle it.
The maintenance light you mentioned was only a routine oil change reminder—not a mechanical issue and it did not affect the safety or performance of the vehicle at any point during your trip.
We do not offer any ride share services for liability purposes.
No smoking allowed
Smoking in any Turo vehicle will result in a $150 fine
Keep the vehicle tidy
Unreasonably dirty vehicles may result in a $150 fine
Refuel the vehicle
Missing fuel may result in an additional fee
