My first experience with Turo and this individual made it ridiculous and stressful. Move on to the next one. She decided to lock us out of using the car because unplug a usb that I thought was a media stick for music No it’s part of the security system”. Even after I plugged it back in. It still took forever to get her to unlock the ability to use the car. I had an autistic family member with me that couldn’t handle what was happening. The weird thing about it was I unplugged the media at the beginning of the trip to charge a phone. That was at 1pm and the car was disabled at 1230 am when I was stuck in a car unsafe location.

I’m sorry that you had an awful experience when renting EV vehicles or renting period that you aren’t familiar with i advise that you ask questions first before you tamper with things that have nothing to do with operating the vehicle! We want our guest to have great experiences and enjoy the features that the Tesla has but when you tamper with security features or things you don’t know if you should or shouldn’t touch you should simply ask! I hope that you ever a better experience moving foward
