Okay.... first off, the car was okay. Its kinda choppy through gears, guess it feels like a rental, but i really wouldn't *fault* a rental for that.
The low review is because when i first rented this car a month in advance of a trip, the owner chose to re-tint it a day before my trip started, and then let us know we couldn't use the convertible top or roll down the windows.
The whole point of renting the car was for rhe sake of it being a convertible, so this sorta took the wind out of our sails a bit.
When we asked if there was anything yhe host could do, they suggested we cancel the trip & they would offer a 15% discount next time we rented through them (which felt kinda scammy like "hey give me more money and ill work with you", but i wanted to give the benefit of the doubt, so i followed the hosts suggestion and cancelled the trip and booked another trip with the same car later on. But when i inquired about the offered 15% discount, the host gave me an excuse as to why they couldn't. Overall a bad experience. The car was okay, but the host doesn't seem to honor their word.
