The cars interior-particularly the passenger footwell- flooded every time it rained (and it was an unfortunately rainy trip). My passengers purse and its contents were soaking wet before we realized the carpet was saturated.
The car smelled like mildew and the windshield was smudged from having to get wiped down, so it was obvious that this wasn’t a new issue.
What’s worse is the a/c stopped working halfway through the first day so from days 2-5 of my rental I didn’t have a/c….in the Carolinas in the middle of August. It was horrendous. It rained every day and every time it did the windshield would immediately get foggy because of how wet the interior was and we had to drive with the windows cracked and our clothes getting soaked.
It’s pretty silly to rent a “Premium” vehicle and get to a restaurant sweaty, soaking wet, and smelling like mildew. When I reported these issues via messenger to the owner she let me know that this has been an ongoing issue which somehow made the whole experience worse.
The owner, however, is a very sweet person and is delightful to work with

Sorry that had to happen . I had the problem fixed right away once the car was returned . We did offer you vehicles swap as soon as I heard it . But hopefully something like this won’t happen again . I do apologize .

The C8 was amazing, smooth ride, clean look. Had a blast riding around Greenville and the countryside. Definitely recommend Di for rentals. Nice pick up\drop off and Di was very responsive to any questions.
