This was a very frustrating experience from start to finish. Communication was extremely poor. I received a call after my scheduled pickup time informing me that the car had only been returned two hours earlier, despite supposedly being due back the day before. As a result, it had not been cleaned or prepared for my trip.
I was then told that they hadn’t seen my booking and implied that I had just made the reservation, which was simply not true. I had booked the vehicle more than 24 hours in advance. After my pickup time had already passed, they offered to help find another car in the area, but by that point I was on a tight schedule and had little choice but to take the original vehicle.
To make matters worse, when I arrived, I had not been provided with any information on how to access the car. I had to call again, only to be told that the information had already been sent, when it clearly had not. The lack of organization, accountability, and communication made what should have been a simple rental unnecessarily stressful. I would not book with this host again.
