The car was great. Nice ride very appealing, helped me get to work and get back stabilized. The flip side predatory pricing markup started at $67, $84, lastly at $96 — threats of calling the police when I had been renewing and paid a little over $700 8 days to rent. $700 in one week is 2 car notes and about 4 weeks rental at a hertz Avis or enterprise. No consideration of the storm and being unable to get to work just accusation of removing GPS and trying to steal a car even showed me a made up map…anyhow, I have worked in law enforcement and as a teacher myself…never had a criminal record. I will never rent from Turo again. They no doubt have good cars but if you are in need you are at their mercy and there’s no grace. They would’ve gotten 5 stars and referrals had I been able to keep the vehicle and cut a deal while getting back to work.
