Host was kind and helpful. There were moments that communication was hard, but he often responded very quickly.
However, the car left a lot to be desired. It did get the job done, was clean, and we were able to get around MD from town to town, but there were multiple lights on at pick up (tire pressure, seat belt, airbag) - the seat belt light beeping on repeat every time we had to make a trip in the car, which would shut off after it’s round of alarms. The front end of the car also had an issue that caused vibrations at speeds between 60-70mph. This all made us feel pretty unsafe during our trip, but we had a non-refundable reservation so decided to deal with it. The host did offer to exchange the car, but we didn’t reach out as we were far away and didn’t want to inconvenience anyone.
Overall, it was pretty disappointing for a Turo rental, but I am glad it ended okay in the end.
