For clarification, no check engine light was present when the vehicle was returned, nor was any check engine light or mechanical concern reported to us at any point during the trip. Regarding the underbody, we simply asked about what we observed after the trip, and once you provided your pre-trip photo showing it was already present, we thanked you and considered the matter resolved.
