Great car Great Service will rent again soon!

Fahran was originally nice and had the car ready at the appointed time. However I picked the car up, it was apparent that the picture angles were optimized to omit interior and exterior damage. It seemed the car needed some care also. Tires had good tread , but pressures were inconsistent and the rears too high. The windshield wipers needed replacing. The engine compartment looked like it hadn’t been opened in a while and the oil seemed a bit dark indicating it was almost due for an oil change (from my experience working on cars for 30 years). When I messaged the host, told him I was disappointed and asked if he would reimburse me if I replaced the windshield wipers, He became sarcastic and wanted the car back immediately. Although I thought this was extreme, I complied. This ruined my travel plans as I was suppose to leave the following Monday morning at 5am. I drove a total of 3.5 miles in the car. Picked it up to take it to my house (to prepare for my trip) and back to where I picked it up (as instructed by Fahran). He said he would refund the entire trip. When I got the bill he charged me for a full day, with the insurance and taxes…$127! Thanks Fahran! While I understand he may have been insulted and worried, I always take care of host cars and never abuse other’s property. But, he never opened the conversation up to address the issue, just cut it off, took the money. Word of advice Fahran, take a customer service course. When we don’t like what other people are saying, it doesn’t mean they are insulting you, often they feel they have been misled. In stead of making it worse, try and address the issue in a constructive way. Good luck Fahran.
The vehicle has a long history of great reviews and was serviced in April 2026. The concerns raised in this review were not consistent with the vehicle’s condition or with feedback from previous guests. When the guest indicated they were unhappy, I asked if he would like to return the vehicle and swap into something else. Any charges or refunds were processed according to Turo policies.
