Turo shouldn’t allow commercial businesses to utilize their platform. If I wanted to rent from a company I would have used Avis or Hertz. This car is from a rental car company! they have cameras inside and outside the vehicle, they are watching and listening to you and your passenger the entire time! The guy who picked it up was purposely looking for something wrong with vehicle. He was trying to find something wrong with the windshield or front hood chips or anything he could, but no luck for him!I drove it a total of 80-miles and took great care of it, but I have a feeling this trip will end up turning into a nightmare…. I strongly recommend NOT to rent from this company! The whole Turo experience is renting from normal people NOT BUSINESSES! Rent from anyone else while in Dallas!
This review contains several inaccuracies. Turo allows commercial hosts, and we comply with all Turo policies. Before the trip, the guest acknowledged our disclosure by replying, "Thank you. I acknowledge and agree." The disclosure clearly states the vehicle uses GPS/video and does not record audio. Our inspection is standard for every rental. Video confirmed the air vent was damaged during this trip, after which the interaction became contentious. We do not have the ability to record audio.
