I never took the car. My wife has bad allergies and the car had some flowery air freshener. I tried to cancel the car after trying to air it out for two hours, but never received a response from the owner. I had to get a last minute rental back at the airport (where I thought this car was going to be and not 25 minutes away. The site did say you may need a shuttle bus to pick it up, but I was thinking it would be like DIA where shuttles take you to rental car lots). Spent $45 on Lyft rides there and back, and had to pay $400 for the only car left at Payless. I do not recommend the Turo service to anyone. The car was nice, just so perfumed that we could smell it 10 feet from the car with the windows cracked.

The pickup and drop off was easy but the vehicle had an extremely strong cigarette smell that the host refused to acknowledge or honor a switch for. The host has several vehicles on the platform but did not respond past saying “the car has been cleaned”. This was a huge disappointment since I am seven months pregnant and had to be resolved through the Turo support team.
