Everything started out great but unfortunately we did not have a good experience. Daniel was very communicative at the beginning and even removed a car seat reservation that we didn’t end up needing. For some odd reason we were ghosted upon arrival and didn’t get pick up instructions for an hour after our reservation started. We almost had to cancel our reservation because we thought we were getting scammed but thankfully Daniel ended up responding after many messages and attempts to contact, very difficult and stressful to navigate with two little ones in tow. We called Turo help desk which was absolutely useless. PSA- if you cancel your reservation, even at the fault of the host, you are responsible to pay the difference on your next booking. Big problem as day of reservations were double the price, very limited selection, and traditional car rentals at the airport were all sold out. This was our first negative Turo experience and has made us second guess using the app. While we were thankful it ended up working out, this was a very stressful start to our trip so my rating is reflective of that. The car itself was clean and perfect for our needs. The beach chair and umbrella rental was a very nice addition. Return was smooth except there was confusion on the hosts’ end on return date that apparently was due to an automated message but caused anxiety due to pick up madness.

Daniel and his car were both awesome! First of all he was kind enough to drop it off at my airbnb, and it was so clean, and it had water and phone chargers already in the car for me. The car drove very well with good mileage, and I had no problems at all. He also came to my location to pick it up again. Daniel was kind and responsive and I would rent his car again.

Car was great, beach gear was great, and Daniel was an excellent and easy person to work with!
