Not much to look at, but it runs great and has a smooth ride. Great value choice!

Right before I picked up the car...Vidas the host messaged me and said..."the car looks really rough."
I thought..".what an odd thing to say to a customer before he picks up a car....??".
Anyway...Vidas was right!
Fun facts about this car:
182,000 miles
VERY worn out.
Custom spray paint all over.
Top of the dash, custom duct tape "lid", floating, for no reason. Don't touch it, it will fall in your lap.
Drivers door...careful when you open, you'll hear a loud "popping" noise. Feels like it may fall off the car.
Gas pedal ...when you try to accelerate, it pauses for a second, then lurches ahead. Not safe.
Hopefully it doesn't rain... windshield wipers are tired, barely work.
The AIR conditioning,...well it works about half the time. Vidas sent me a 2 screen message on how to make it work. NOPE. It blows nice and warm. Nothing like a little back sweat to make your trip enjoyable in south Florida. OH ...and the words on the AC buttons are all worn off... illegible...so you can't read any of them! LOL.
The back left door doesn't lock.
The key fob ...good luck guessing which button locks some of the doors....all the buttons are illegible....letters worn off. I only set off the alarm 5 times.... the neighbors looked annoyed.
The headlights....I would NOT drive at night! It's like 2 tiny yellow flashlights LOL. you can barely see 10 feet in front of the car.
Parking....in the ad...it says..."probably a couple hours at $3 per hour.
NO ITS NOT....mine was $21.
So wrong, so misleading.
At the end of the trip, I filled the car with gas. Pictures, receipt, etc.
Vidas told me it was 1 gallon short, charged me $15.14 for another gallon. I disputed it and Turo customer service agreed with me. Then Turo customer service changed their mind??? So I had to pay the $15.14 for a gallon of gas. So wrong, that seems like a scam.
Near the last day of my trip, I ran over a nail. So I had to pay $107 for a new tire, which I am fine with.
I would never recommend this car, or this host to anybody, ever. This car should be taken off the road.
Oh. Thanks for the comprehensive feedback. Turo has taken off the descriptions therefore I do have to reach out to the guests before the trip to inform them that the car looks rough. And it does. However, it drives fine and 99% of the guests are happy to get it at unbelievable rates. Actually, a lot of young guests choose this vehicle when visiting their grandparents or parents here in Florida- helps with fundraising efforts:) Doug, you have been driving the car with 6” nail stuck in the tire!
