⛔️❌⚠️⚠️ Avoid this host at all costs! ⚠️⚠️❌⛔️

Dishonest, aggressive host acting in extremely bad faith.

We rented a McLaren that broke down after only one hour (engine warning lights, limp mode limited to 60 km/h, and an emergency warning message on the dashboard). During a FaceTime call, we showed him everything, but the host (who outsources the rentals and wasn’t even on-site) didn’t even know what the problem was. He actually told us to take the car to McLaren ourselves! We have photos and videos proving everything.

Additionally, the entire lower part of the passenger door was heavily scratched and badly damaged, yet this was never mentioned in the listing. The photos the host sent us before pickup did not identify or mention this damage in any way, making it impossible to know it already existed before taking possession of the vehicle.

The next day, the car wouldn’t even start. Instead of using the Turo roadside assistance that we had specifically paid for as an option, he forced us to use his own tow truck.

He then offered us several replacement vehicles (including a Ferrari), clearly assuring us that he would fully reimburse the cost of the new reservation. In the end, he refused to reimburse the Ferrari.

He kept changing his story and refused the amicable resolution process offered by Turo.

Taking advantage of the fact that we were abroad and not fluent in English, he caused us to lose 2 days out of our 8-day vacation and more than €200 in international phone charges.

He blamed us for everything, called us “amateurs,” and even threatened us with abusive inspections.

Do not rent from this host under any circumstances.

Anfitrión deshonesto, agresivo y de una mala fe extraordinaria.

Alquilamos un McLaren que se averió después de solo una hora (testigos de avería del motor, modo de seguridad limitado a 60 km/h y un mensaje de emergencia en el tablero). Durante una videollamada por FaceTime le mostramos todo, pero el anfitrión (que subcontrata los alquileres y ni siquiera estaba presente) ni siquiera sabía cuál era el problema. ¡Incluso nos dijo que lleváramos nosotros mismos el coche a McLaren!

Además, toda la parte inferior de la puerta del pasajero estaba muy rayada y gravemente dañada, pero ese desperfecto nunca aparecía mencionado en el anuncio. Las fotos que el anfitrión nos envió antes de recoger el vehículo tampoco indicaban ni señalaban ese daño, por lo que era imposible saber que ya existía antes de recibir el coche.

Al día siguiente, el coche ya ni siquiera arrancaba. En lugar de utilizar la asistencia en carretera de Turo, que habíamos contratado y pagado como opción, nos obligó a utilizar su propia grúa.

Después nos ofreció varios vehículos de reemplazo (entre ellos un Ferrari), asegurándonos claramente que nos reembolsaría por completo esa nueva reserva. Al final, se negó a devolvernos el dinero del Ferrari.

Cambió su versión constantemente y rechazó la resolución amistosa propuesta por Turo.

Aprovechándose de que estábamos en el extranjero y de que no dominamos perfectamente el inglés, nos hizo perder 2 de los 8 días de vacaciones y gastar más de 200 € en llamadas internacionales.

Nos culpó de todo, nos llamó “aficionados” y hasta nos amenazó con inspecciones abusivas.

No alquilen nunca un vehículo con este anfitrión.

Hôte malhonnête et de très mauvaise foi.

Notre McLaren est tombée en panne après seulement une heure (voyants moteur, mode sécurité, message d’urgence). En FaceTime, il ne savait même pas d’où venait le problème et nous a demandé d’aller nous-mêmes chez McLaren.

De plus, toute la partie inférieure de la porte passager était fortement rayée et abîmée, sans que cela soit mentionné dans l’annonce. Les photos qu’il nous avait envoyées avant la remise du véhicule ne signalaient absolument pas ces dommages, ce qui ne permettait pas de savoir qu’ils existaient déjà avant la prise en charge.

Le lendemain, la voiture ne démarrait plus. Malgré l’assistance Turo souscrite, il nous a imposé sa dépanneuse.

Il nous a ensuite garanti qu’il rembourserait la Ferrari de remplacement qu’il nous proposait, avant de refuser tout remboursement. Il a changé plusieurs fois de version et rejeté la médiation proposée par Turo.

À cause de lui, nous avons perdu 2 jours de vacances, passé plus de 3 heures au téléphone (plus de 200 € de hors-forfait) et subi un comportement agressif. Il nous a traités d’« amateurs », menacés d’inspections abusives et nous a constamment rejeté la faute.

N’allez surtout pas chez cet hôte.
