I never write reviews, but this was ridiculous and ruined the experience.
I paid close to $900 to drive a sports car. The car was locked in “Teen Driver Mode”, which basically makes this car slower than a v6 mom car. This was not in the listing description and when I asked the host to remove it they said “they have this on all their rentals and would not”.
It is false advertising to not include that information on your listing description, as the car did not preform as it should (it was completely neutered). I have owned corvettes and driven multiple c8's not in this mode, so I can confidently state it impacts the driving dynamics at all speeds (driving slow & fast). The car did not drive as advertised.
PLEASE LIST “TEEN DRIVING MODE” IN YOUR LISTING DESCRIPTION - “THIS MODE IMPACTS & LIMITS THE CARS POWER, PERFORMANCE AND DRIVING DYNAMICS.”
Note: Rent an SUV with a v6 or a 4 turbo car and it will preform better than this car in “Teen Driving Mode” and you will pay 3-4 times less and not have to squeeze out of the car. The only point of this car is driving it the way it was intended to be driven. Save your money and if you do get a corvette make sure they don't have “teen driving model” on as the car cannot be unlocked without a pin.

During your rental, you messaged us “Hi Cynthia! The car has been great!” and even requested an extension, which we unfortunately weren’t able to accommodate. After that request was declined, the vehicle was returned to the wrong location, and this review was subsequently posted. We believe the timeline speaks for itself and do not believe retaliatory reviews accurately reflect a guest’s rental experience.
