The host was very pleasant but the car smelled perversely of cigarette smoke from a previous ride and was hard to drive in it….

This is the second time we rented from The Sharks for our Michigan adventure. They answered all of our questions and concerns. When the Buick we rented didn't come back in time, they replaced it with a Honda. I asked them for a GM car because we can't drive up in a foreign car to a GM family and they hooked us up with a Chevy Cruze. Car was clean, it ran good and got the family to the Bridge and back safely.

For the price we got a working car that was comfortable. The car had issues: crack in front windshield, right rear view mirror broken, Bluetooth didn’t work, no trunk light, i had to use a pen to unlock the car door with the key fob (missing buttons), and it came with an overpowering air freshener. However the car worked for us and the price couldn’t be beat. We never felt unsafe in it. The owner was a GREAT communicator.
