Great experience, very accommodating and straightforward

Very disappointed with this rental experience. The vehicle was turned to me with a very strong odor that smelled like drugs/smoke, making the ride uncomfortable from the moment I picked it up. I tried addressing the issue respectfully and asked if there could be any accommodation made, but nothing was done. Cleanliness and vehicle condition should be a basic expectation when renting a car. In my line of work I get drug tested and for this app to have a “no smoke allowed” the vehicle shouldn’t be rented out with an odor. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet that standard.
We value honesty and professionalism in our business and expect respectful communication from all guests. We were surprised by the negative feedback, especially after the guest requested a free trip extension. When we were unable to accommodate that request, the tone of the interaction changed significantly. We stand by the condition and maintenance of our vehicles and strive to provide a positive experience for every guest.

Loved this ride ! Instructions were clear, and the host made sure to be available in case I needed anything during my trip. one thing I will note, there wasn’t a tree dangling or a canister under the seat but the car smelled AMAZING I can’t explain it 🙂↕️ one thing I really like is the host notified me of the car wash membership it has en route to drop off so that was a bonus I hadn’t experienced on Turo yet, I normally use my membership either way. I have no complaints or concerns, I’d definitely recommend and I look forward to being able to book again, thanks 🙏
