The car was good. The one issue was that, while CarPlay was listed as a feature, it wasn’t until after booking that the host messaged me to let me know it was finicky. We tried multiple times with multiple cables, but were unsuccessful. Additionally, we were able to connect to the car with Bluetooth with multiple phones tried.

The car was great! Fuel efficient and great for tight parking spots. There’s a trunk cover too so leaving things in there when out and about felt secure. It was clean.
But.. although many attempts with a USB cable and a USB-c cable, neither my partner and I could get Apple CarPlay to work on our phones. For reference we have an IPhone 14 Pro and IPhone 17 Pro.
Not having CarPlay made it a bit challenging to navigate the streets of Oahu as a tourist.
There was also a minor issue with the radio’s audio not shutting off after turning off the car, but that resolved itself. Clarissa’s communication during all of this was very prompt and professional and offered to have the vehicle looked at if the audio issue persisted. She was a good host.
