Thanks again for the awesome car. I appreciate the patience with the return. California traffic is no joke, I'll take that into consideration next time. Also, thank you for the trip extensions on short notice. It made my trip a lot more stress free knowing that you had my back when I needed more time. Thank you again and I hope we meet one more time.

This was a great car for the one month period that I wanted! Just an FYI this car cannot go above 80mph. There’s no need to drive that fast anyway, but around 75 mph or close to it, it gives you a notification. Also, Mike was a great host!

I usually don’t need to write a review with depth, but this was such a distasteful experience.
Car has a gps control in it so the host has the volume of music limited and speed is limited as well. Can’t hear anything with the windows down. I Had the car one day and everything was fine. Then the next day the vehicle was not working once I came out from working all day. Seems like there may have been a cutoff switch with this gpa tracker system because there were no signs of battery at low power. The key was not working for remote entry and the manual key to put in the door was never cut so I was force locked out at 5:15pm.
I informed the host and he completely blew me off with no regard, I reached out to turo roadside assistance and I was stuck for 6 hours due to his lack of consideration. Total of time with tow truck was3 hours and was supposed to meet the host with a working key at his requested tow location so I could retrieve my wallet and belongings out of the vehicle. When I arrived at the address host provided, he was no where to be found. I called him to let him know I couldn’t get into my home without my wallet which was in the car and that I needed to get inside. He claimed he didn’t have another key and that he couldn’t help me until tomorrow morning. This was at 8:30pm so I let him Know I needed to get home tonight so I needed a solution because he didn’t follow through on the plan to meet at tow location. He then told me I could make demands but it doesn’t change he wasn’t going to do anything for me. I then had to call Turo roadside assistance so they could process another dispatch and this caused me to wait an additional 2 hours in the cold waiting for a locksmith. They arrived at 10pm and then Turo gave me a Uber voucher to get home by around 11pm.
Turo was great and reimbursed me. Worst experience I’ve ever had with any host or “business owner” in general.
While I would dispute some of the points raised in the review, I would agree that it was a 1 star experience that I take full responsibility for.
