The Bolt EV was advertised as having a 250 mile range. Even staying well under highway speeds, around 55 MPH, I had to stop and charge almost every two hours and it took an hour or more for each charge. This turned a 7 hour drive into 12 hours. I would not rent another one of these.

The advertised range can vary considerably based on various factors such terrain, climate controls and speeding. Higher speeds in particular can reduce an EV’s range substantially.
We generally don't recommend EV's for long range driving unless you are familiar with charging logistics and EV range management.
Car was good, with an easy drop off and pick up.
