Car was amazing has a belt noise but if you can get passed that totally fun to drive!!

We drove 2 hours round trip to pick up the Slingshot from Clayton. Upon returning home we noticed the license plate tags were expired. We were headed out on a road trip early the next morning and didn't feel comfortable driving through multiple states even though Clayton said he may be able to renew it and email it to us. He told us he would give us a refund and to park the slingshot in his driveway, which we did. The next morning we left and didn't have service for most of the trip. Upon returning home we contacted him asking about the refund and he told us we were the ones who needed to cancel the reservation. In situations like this, Turos policy is for the owner to cancel the reservation, not the guest. Clayton informed us that he wouldn't give us a refund. He later offered to refund 1/3 of the cost, but still blamed it on us. Thankfully Turo took care of us and gave us a full refund. I definitely wouldn't recommend renting a vehicle from Clayton.
