Great car, and host was helpful.

The car was a real gas saver and the host was kind detailed and professional. I was a bit disappointed with the overall state of the car. It was in decent mechanical condition and had clearly been vacuumed but there was an odor from a previous guest that made it a bit difficult at first. Our host however was responsive and kind and was willing to cover the cost of an air freshener. We drove all over and only had to fill up once our entire trip which makes this car a great find. Since there were cosmetic defects in the vehicle I was a little nervous that they would be attributed to us and spent way more time getting photos from all angles than I would have liked. There was also some engine squealing when I initially started the car up from a cold start which was a bit alarming. That being said, this visit was uneventful and we thank our host for making this vehicle available to us. It was what we needed for the trip. I would get a Turo from him again simply because his communication was excellent and the car, though not new, never gave me extreme concerns. One note that I’ll say is that this car’s windows are very tinted which made it a tad difficult to see in the dark out the back windows. The rearview mirror is also tinted. If you already struggle with night driving I would go with a different car. If you don’t and need something very economical, then i would recommend this one.
