Description

Time to experience the future of the automobile! One of the few Teslas on Turo with full self-driving (FSD) beta access. Tesla's Model 3 is the world's best-selling electric car in history, Popular Mechanic's 2018 car of the year, an IIHS Top Safety Pick +, and as quick as a Lamborghini Gallardo. If you like tech and also like cars, this 2020 LR AWD Model 3 is for you. The $60k sticker price includes the following options: heated front and rear seats, keyless entry (using your cell phone!), dual motor all-wheel drive, LED interior lighting, tinted windows, front and rear moonroof, front and rear trunk storage, navigation, premium connectivity, backup camera, auto folding and dimming mirrors, premium sound system, LED daytime running lights, autopilot with full self-driving beta access (FSD) upgrade, summon, auto-park, sentry mode, and more! Its 346hp engines can get you from 0-60mph in 4.2s and are rated for 116MPGe, allowing you to travel over 300 miles on a single charge. This Model 3 is ready for summer, equipped with ultra high performance Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 3 summer tires new as of May, 2021. Tire and rims are subject to change (will put winter or all-season tires on) around November. I offer delivery at my discretion, please inquire for details. Ideally, I will drive to your location, pick you up, and then drive me back to my house to drop me off. Similarly for when you are returning the vehicle. Or, if you'd like to cover my Uber home, I can occasionally do that as well. You are always welcome to pick the car up from my house as that is usually the easiest route. The vehicle is normally available on short notice. However, to limit requests for the vehicle in the middle of the night, I have it set for a minimum of 1-3 hours notice. If you need less notice than that, I'd recommend still making the booking and inquiring on short notice availability. Feel free to "add this car to favorites" to help you find it for future trips and email [email protected] with any questions. Buying a new Tesla? Consider using my referral code to get 1,000 miles of FREE supercharging: https://ts.la/matt34163 Looking forward to meeting you! - Matt

Extras (2)

Add optional Extras to your trip at checkout.

Air mattress

I have available both a queen plug-in (120V) inflatable air mattress and a twin-sized Tesmat designed to "car camp" in the climate-controlled Model 3 once you fold down the rear seats! Both are $50/trip. More information on the Tesmat: tesmat.com

$50/trip2 available

Prepaid EV recharge

Save time and make dropoff a breeze by adding this Extra, which allows you to return my car without fully recharging as long as it is returned with at least 20% of range.

$25/trip

Guidelines

No smoking or pets. Up to a $250 fee will be charged for cleaning. Seriously, no smoking. Please be careful when parking in the city. The rims are very susceptible to curb rash on the sidewalk and are quite expensive ($300) to repair. Excessive hard driving (heavy accelerations and braking at my discretion) will result in a less than 5 star review. Please treat the car as if it's your own :)

Faqs

  • What if I don't fully recharge the vehicle when I return it?

    Unless you select the Prepaid EV Recharge option, you will be charged according to Turo guidelines (https://support.turo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360056601634-Charging-for-refueling-costs): * 0%-10% charge = $100 * 10%–20% charge = $50 * 21%–50% charge = $20 * 51%–80% charge = $10 * 81%–100% charge = No fee

  • Where can I overnight park my car when renting?

There is free street parking all around my house (first come, first serve but I have never had an issue finding a spot). Another popular spot is a Starbucks near my house. They have no rules against overnight parking.

  • How can I charge the vehicle?

Teslas are pure electric, so you need to charge it. No gas at all. Fortunately, there are many different options for charging: * Tesla Superchargers: ~75mi in 5min, ~180mi in 15min (tesla.com/supercharger). ~$30 for a full charge. * Public charging stations: ~25mi/hr (plugshare.com). ~$20 for a full charge. * Normal 110V outlet: ~4mi/hr (anywhere you can charge a cell phone). ~$10 for a full charge. To use a supercharger, just park next to one and plug in! It will bill my credit card on file and I will submit a reimbursement request at the end of your trip. Note that it is damaging to the battery to let the vehicle's state of charge drop below 15%. Additionally, the vehicle uses battery power even when idle (like when it is parked overnight) to the tune of ~1% every 2 hours. Please plan accordingly.

  • Does your car have autopilot? Or Full Self-Driving (FSD) beta access?

Yes and yes! My Tesla is one of the few available on Turo that has access to Tesla's "Full Self-Driving" beta (a $12k upgrade). When instructed, the car will attempt to drive on both the highway and city to navigate to your destination. It is extremely exciting to watch, but is very much still a work in progress. Full attention of the vehicle is required as the software is still very much in beta. More information is available on it here: https://www.tesla.com/support/autopilot

Matt totally bailed me out of a different host’s last minute cancellation on a Friday afternoon. His car is great and he is easy to work with. It’s hosts like him that make Turo a regular part of my travel plans.

Matt and the Tesla were awesome. Matt gave me a full tutorial and made himself available throughout the week if I had any questions. Matt and the Tesla get an A+ in my book. Highly recommend both.

Matt went above and beyond our expectations! He was so accommodating, met us timely for pick up and drop off, offered us helpful information about the Denver area, and so much more. His Tesla is squeaky clean and a breeze to drive. Can’t wait to rent again from him next time we are in the area!
