This vehicle should not be rented out until the following issues are properly addressed:
The passenger-side window does not close or seal correctly. When the convertible top is up, this creates a loud, high-pitched whistling noise that makes driving extremely unpleasant. It also allows excessive road noise into the cabin, significantly diminishing the overall driving experience.
There also appears to be a mechanical issue with the front end. This was immediately noticeable when driving through the airport parking lot—especially over speed bumps—where the car produced loud banging and clunking noises. It’s unsettling, particularly as a first impression of the vehicle, and raises concerns about its condition and safety.
When I reported these issues, I was offered a replacement in the form of a four-door sedan. That wasn’t a comparable alternative, as I specifically rented a Mustang convertible for that experience. Since no similar vehicle was made available, I continued using the car as-is, driving mostly with the top down because it was not tolerable with the top up. Fortunately, the weather cooperated for most of the rental period.
Overall, this vehicle is not in suitable condition to be rented in its current state.
Guest reported a concern with the vehicle on the final day of a 5-day trip and requested compensation at that time. We did not receive any earlier communication about the issue during the trip. Guests are expected to report any concerns promptly so they can be addressed and to help prevent potential further damage. Had we been notified sooner, we would have been happy to assist or arrange a replacement vehicle. Based on this experience, I would exercise caution in future rentals.

Communication was good but one of the windows wouldn’t roll up and there wasn’t really a resolution provided. The transmission wasn’t very smooth and there was a significant tire vibration at highway speeds so the car needs mechanical attention.
