The car was great, but the experience with the host was less than satisfactory. I’ve rented through Turo before and have never experienced a trip where I felt so closely monitored or uncomfortable. While I understand that vehicles may have tracking devices, having the host personally monitor my driving activity, message me about my speed, and ultimately report me made the entire experience unpleasant. I’ve never felt this uncomfortable when getting a rental off Turo or had any other host that is monitoring driving do this before. The vehicle itself was fine, but unfortunately, I can’t say the same about my experience with the host.
